SPEED MASTER BAGGED THE PRIME MINISTER’S ROLLING TROPHY AND RUPEES THREE LAKHS

Minicoy:- The Speed Master of Aoumagu Village won the Prime Minister’s Rolling trophy and Rupees three lakh in the Jhadhoni race competition organized in connection with the 2nd National Minicoy Fest- 2013 on 28th December 2012.This is the second consequent victory of Speed Master. The Speed Master was the winner in NMF-2012 also.
The boat named Speed Master owned by the Aoumagu Village rowed in track 8 bagged first prize, the Prime Minister’s Rolling Trophy and Rs. 3 Lack by covering a distance of 0.73 NM taking 5:27:47 time. The Jahadhoni named Cleopatra owned by Sedivalu Village in track 1 bagged second place taking 5:37:59 time and third prize won by the dhoni Sithara of Bada (Sithara Club) in track 6 taking 5:38:25 time. Total 8 Jahadhonies took part in the race.
