പച്ചയായ പച്ചയായ പാശ്ചാത്യ അനുകരണങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ട് പെരുന്നാള്‍ ആഘോഷം ആഭാസകരമാക്കരുതെന്ന് ഖാസി സയ്യിദ് ഫത്തഹുള്ളാ മുത്തുകോയ തങ്ങള്‍ ഖുതുബയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമുള്ള പ്രസംഗത്തില്‍ ഉണര്‍ത്തി. സ്നേഹവും സൗഹൃദവും ഐശ്വര്യവും പ്രകടമാവേണ്ട പെരുന്നാള്‍ സുദിനം ലഹരിയിലും അനാചാരങ്ങളിലും മുഴുക്കി തരം താഴ്ത്തരുതെന്ന് തങ്ങള്‍ മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്‍കി. റമളാനില്‍ നേടിയ ആത്മസംസ്ക്കരണം മറ്റുമാസങ്ങളിലും കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കണമെന്ന് തങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

UL FITHRE CELEBRATED AT MINICOY

Eidul Fithre celebrated at Minicoy with great enthusiasm and
religious fervor after observing 29 days Fasting of Holy Ramzan on
9th
August 2013 Friday. People were engaged in offering Fithre Zakaath to
mark the conclusion of fasting during the holy Ramzan, to uphold the
commands of Allah (SW) and follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed
(SAW).
At
main Funhilo Juma Masjid, Janab Kalifage Aouge Shafeeque Maulavi was
the Imam for Eid Prayer and Khutba after prayer was lead by
Janab.Moosa Safarugothi, Khatheeb. The Eid prayer in Bada Juna Masjid
Janab Faburikage Mohammed Sageer Moulavi was the Imam for the Eid
Prayer and the Khuthba was led by Janabi. D.Mohammed bin Moosa,
Khatheeb. In their khutba address both Khatheebs requested Muslims
to follow the principles of Islam and remain united to strengthen the
holy religion Islam and maintain peace. People expressed Eid
greetings to each other and visited their relatives as a part of Eid
celebrations. People in large numbers participated in the traditional
common feast arranged in all village houses immediately after the Eid
prayer in connection with the Eid celebrations. The youth groups
representing each village had also visited all village houses each
other during night as a part of traditionally exchanging the Eid
greetings among villagers and actively took part in the refreshments
organized in each village houses as usual. A large number of people
including children visited southern tip of Minicoy Thundi point and
the 127 years old Light House as usual.
