DA വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലെ
കാലതാമസത്തില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച്
ജൂലൈ 8 മുതല്‍
ജീവനക്കാര്‍ അനിശ്ചിതകാല
സമരം തുടങ്ങി. കഴിഞ്ഞ
24 ന് ഈ കാര്യം
ഉന്നയിച്ച് സൂചനാ പണിമുടക്ക്
നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍
ഇവരുടെ ആവശ്യം പരിഗണിക്കാത്തതിന്റെ
പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് അനിശ്ചിതകാല
സമരത്തിലേക്ക് ഇവര്‍ നീങ്ങിയത്.
കൂടാതെ നിലവിലെ MD
യും രജിസ്ട്രാറും
ഒരാളായിരിക്കെ തങ്ങളുടെ
പ്രശ്നം പുല്ലുവില
കല്‍പിച്ചില്ലെന്നാണ്
ജീവനക്കാരുടെ പരാതി. കേന്ദ്ര
ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് DA
വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍
തന്നെയാണ് ഫെഡറേഷന്‍
ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് കാലങ്ങളായി
DA വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
എന്നാല്‍ ഇതിനെതിരെയാണ്
ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ നടപടി.
ദ്വീപുകളില്‍
നിന്ന് കൊപ്രയുമായും റംസാനും
പെരുന്നാളിനും പലചരക്ക്
കയറ്റുന്നതിനുമായും ബാര്‍ജുകള്‍
ബേപ്പൂര്‍ തുറമുഖത്ത്
എത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
കൂടാതെ M.V.ഏളിക്കല്‍പേനി
ദ്വീപുകളിലേക്ക് പെട്രോള്‍
എത്തിക്കാന്‍ ബേപ്പുരില്‍
എത്തിനില്‍ക്കേ ജീവനക്കാര്‍
നടത്തുന്ന ഈ സമരം
ഒത്തുതാര്‍പ്പായില്ലെങ്കില്‍
ദ്വീപിലെ സാധാരണക്കാരെ സാരമായി
ബാധിക്കുമെന്ന് തീര്‍ച്ചയാണ്.

MD പദവിയും കൈയ്യാളുന്ന
ഡാനിക് ഓഫീസര്‍ക്ക് ദ്വീപുകാരുടെ
പ്രശ്നം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാന്‍
താല്പര്യമില്ലെന്നാണ് സമരസമിതി
ദ്വീപ് ഡയറിയോട് പറയുന്നത്.

ഈ പ്രശ്നം ഗൗരവമായിയെടുത്തില്ലെങ്കില്‍
ദ്വീപുകളില്‍ ഡീസല്‍
ഷോര്‍ട്ടേജടക്കമുള്ള പ്രശ്നം
രൂക്ഷമാകുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പ്.
It is very shame to know that RCS(registrar of Cooperative Societies) and MD(Managing Director)LCMF is the same person and failed to solve this minor issue of sanction DA to LCMF employees. Even Labourers working at Cooperative societies and other govt institution allowing increase of DA based on price index published by Statistical Dept. The post of MD is holding by Dweep officials up to April 2013. The allowance of LCMF employees approved by dweep officials then and there. It is not fare to hold both post of RCS and MD same person since RCS is the appellant authority to take a decision of Board of Directors in Coop. Dept. The RCS is given show cause notice to Board of Directors to dismiss the Board of LCMF. In this circumstances no hope for solve the problem of LCMF employees in near future since the Board has to decide any direction received from RCS. MD is RCS, he has not call Director Board meeting to discuss the strike issue of employees. LCMF employees on the view that all Board of Directors at Island Cooperative societies enhanced DA to their employees but LCMF employees suffered due to the dispute between RCS and Board of Directors of LCMF on Manchu repairing issue. Solve this problem without any delay since the loading of essential commodities may effect if Copra in the three barges not unloaded due to non cooperation of LCMF employees.
