Agatti:- The
Western Star Arts and Sports Club, Agatti and Nehru Yuva Kendra,
Lakshadweep has jointly arranged two week training for woman in Cycle
repairing from 12th
January 2013 to 25th
January 2013.
The
training programme started with a simple inaugural function conducted
at Western Star Volleyball Court. Smt Naseema.S, Member, Village
Dweep Panchayat (VDP) inaugurated the programme and She requested
participants to take advantage of this training which helps for
self-employment for live hood. Shri.Arshaf.EP, Executive member
welcomed the guest and participants.
Shri.Hamzarali.PK,
president of the club presided over the function. In his presidential
address Shri.Hamzarali, highlighted the importance of such training
for woman to promote the works with a view to develop the talents in
island woman to help them self-employment.Shri.Ali,
Koodathapada of Agatti Island acts as resource person for the
training programme. Shri.Abdumon.KP, Member, Western Star proposed
